I was alone and just wanted to try something new. Never been to this Cafe before. Tried the Japanese food at Level 2 and A&W at Level 1. This time it will be Vietnamese!!!

Quite packed inside (crowded at peak dinner time on Sunday), a short queue on the outside. After 10mins, I went to order at their counter. Heard from the lady chief that only the 2 opening special Set are available. either the Grilled Chicken Set or the Beef Pho Set. 15% off valid till end March 2022.

I chose Beef Pho Set.

Beef Pho Noodle Soup + Summer Rice Rolls + Water Melon Juice.

Lady chief gave everyone a dessert

. Just that the portion is quite a lot, these days I eat lesser. If you are a small eater, you can share with another person.

I saw a guy at the table opposite drinking Vietnamese Coffee with a golden dripper. Looks fun. In fact, I wanted to try. But I held my horses

…as my stomach was already FULL HOUSE.

Haha… feeling of spaceless-ness was before the unexpected arrival of the complimentary dessert

, I didn’t order the VS dripping Viet Coffee

. And coffee don’t really mix well with water melon

juice, I thought

Tom Yum Seafood Kway Teow.

I was marketing a unit in this HDB Cluster that just M.O.P (5years only). I just sent my client home after viewing some condo units. So, I popped by this Coffeeshop at Blk 215C for a quick lunch before my appointment at 1pm.

Recently, I tried their pineapple fried rice too. Nice

. Today, as I browsed through the “single portion” of their menu, this Tom Yum noodles called out to me ! I asked if the kway teow is the skinny type? The lady stuff said yes! So, I ordered !

!!! The skinny kway teow was silky smooth and yummy

. There were 3 prawns

, quite small. But their sotongs were Big

. Got plenty of mushrooms and also a few fish slices. And the Tom Yum soup is nice.

In thai language, it means 要吃吗？Want to eat? Found a eatery with name Kin Kao Mai.

i have not touched thai food for quite some time。And i have not tried this shop as it us one of the newer eatries at Punggol East Container Park。 It is about 1-2years old。

Last night:
just finished a walk near Tebing lane，and i heard authentic thai music playing in the background。so，i walked up to the shop to asked for a menu。

eh… i saw mostly western food stuff，i was puzzled 🤯, I turned and looked at the Signboard above: Kin Kao Mai is definitely Thai to me !!! Then the waiter asked if i was looking for thai food, then i was directed to the thai menu。

i was deciding to try their olive rice， shrimp paste rice or pineapple rice。 in the end， i chose Pineapple 🍍！and as for the drink，i thought of taking a glass of Singha beer 🍺 ，then i chose a healthier Fresh Coconut 🥥 ！

And it turned out to be a very good choice！i enjoyed both the pineapple rice and the fresh coconut！ Love the thai music too。I travelled back in time listening to these 🇹🇭 music, dreaming about the times when i was at Krabi， Phi Phi island， Phuket，Ko Samui and Hatyai。We would take 12hour coach 🚌 ride from Singapore to Hatyai and then transferred 7hour mini-bus ride to other parts of thailand。Those were the days before budget airlines！

Very nice authentic Thai food. Reasonably priced. No Service Charge & No GST.

Fragrant Thai Fish Cakes with its accompanying sauce.

Seafood glass noodle salad. This is a must-order appetitiser to wake up your taste buds before the main dishes. Really authentic, like the ones I had in Thailand. Pack a punch ! Sour Spicyness from the lime, chilli, onion, fish sauce…etc together with the seafood, minced meat, spring onions and all. A perfect opener !

Deep Fried Garlic Pork. Flavourful and well marinated. My wife finds it a bit dry, I am okay as deep fried stuff are usually abit dry. if you were to dine-in, definitely taste better and it is served hot from the stove.
