Finally tried their nian gao waffle with double scoops of ice cream last Saturday. And that was dessert after our dinner at the level 2 hawker center.

There is always room for dessert.

Was at this hawker waiting for someone, so decided to try this Prawn Paste chicken wings 虾酱炸鸡翅.

Heard their chicken wings are marinated for at least 2 days and double fried it with two different batter. The prawn paste wings were served hot hot hot ! Nice。

Ordered number 1 on their menu, both the dry & soup versions. $5 for S size, and the portion is quite alot, and good for breakfast. If you pay by ntuc app, you get 10% discount, so it costs $4.50.

The soup is quite rich but not really salty, plus you add the red chilli powder, it is quite potent. My wife says for $4.50 price point, this is value for money for prawn noodle, especially the dry version. (don’t expect Michelin standard, can try if you happen to be nearby)

I saw at the bottom of the menu, budget item 7 is $3.30, probably lesser ingredients.

Behind me is old auntie, she wanted to order the item number 4 with 猪尾， but the tail was not ready yet.

A little chat with the male staff. This stall is affiliated to famous curry puff stall

at Hong Lim: Tanglin Curry Puffs since 1952.

Ordered 2. One Chicken Potato with egg & the other Sardine Potato (the one with red dot

). Packed into a brown paper bag.

I was very lucky, I reached about 8am when the stall churned out hot hot hot curry puff. You know I love food that are served hot.

If you google

Hong Lim curry puffs, you can find some family dispute & “which is original stall” stuff, which are pretty common to famous food stalls.

Most of us won’t really bother about these

. Most importantly, whether the curry puffs we get from this stall are nice !!! The ones in our hands! Mine: Thin crispy skin & Nice fillings!!!

$2 each, 10% discount if you pay by NTUC app. Abit Ex, but nice. You don’t have to travel to Hong Lim to try one

One of the more popular Dim Sum Restaurant in Anchorvale Village.

Previous Visit:
Came from B1 carpark lobby, and I noticed this shop was open. So I popped in. Asked for their recommendations and was introduced many, but I selected only 3 as I am alone. Originally I wanted steamed ones, but the staff said these were exceptionally good, so I ordered!

2) Swee Choon Signature Mee Sua Kueh

3) Tofu Bomb

4) Hong Kong Style Coffee with Milk.

. I must say they are really good !!! Something different.

Tabao roast duck当归烧鸭 + roast meat 烧肉. The skin of the roasted duck is thin. Nice

烧肉skin is crispy.

A good design, open air, air flow and natural lighting is good. Many many stalls. Many good additions to the food scene in Sengkang and Punggol! Foodie Residents 有口福了！

There are a few stall with many people queuing. Ah Tan Wings is one of them, anyone tried.? I have tried their wings at their stall at Yishun park Hawker Centre. It’s good.

There is one stall Original Simon Road Hokkien Mee, wah…shutters half open, already got a queue formed 😊. Must be good… anyone tried?

Thai Khanom (fritters) also has a short queue 🥳🥳🥳. This Hawker Centre is operated by Fairprice Group, so if you use the Ntuc App to pay, there will be a 10% discount.
