Le Steak Singapore is a Halal Certified Establishment. Their WAGYU Cattle are grained fed for the last 300-500 days and certified HALAL. WAGYU beef consists of high levels of fine white flecks of fat that weave throughout the textured meat. WAGYU is known as “Marbling”, which makes the meat extremely tender and gives it a deliciously sweet taste. The best way to experience the tenderness and flavour of WAGYU is to have the steak grilled Medium Rare or at least Medium. A good and high quality steak gives a velvety and rich texture.

A new addition to Sengkang Food just months ago when Seven Star Coffeeshop/FoodCourt started its operation in Compassvale Mast neighbourhood. Its Roasted Duck is superb !!! Plus the Roasted Pork comes with very crispy top skin that cracks like crackers. One of the quality i look for when eating Roasted Pork. This stall serves very nice Wanton Noodle that comes with super lean Char Siew Pork.!!! They just introduced Soya Sauce Chicken to their menu. TRY if you have the chance! Besides the regular fishball & minced pork noodle, you can order this dark-sauce noodle. Very Nice. Comes with prawn, lean pork slices, meatball and fishball and fish cakes slices. A combination of dark sauce and Chilli give the noodle a different taste from the usual fishball noodle !

At $1.50 per plate, Sushi Express serves bite-sized sushi. Only one colour: PINK plates. Just have to calculate the number of plates when you are for the bill. Fresh Salmons, Smoked duck, Sea Urchin sushi, …plus their dessert plates…you will be spoilt for choice on your first visit. A quick Japanese food fix which is much more affordable than other Japanese Restaurants. Very Popular.

One of the newest addition to Punggol, this stall was previously from Toa Payoh, and its Master Chef had decades of experience frying one of the BEST Hokkien Noodle in Punggol. Its Main Signboard even mentioned “1960s Authentic Taste“. At first i was sceptical but was blown away by its very delicious Fried Hokkien Prawn Noodle, cooked with rich broth and very nice chilli too ! Try its Char Kway Teow, setup too !!!

There are many Mixed Vege Rice and Porridge in Sengkang. This is the one that attracted me. Though it is on the slightly more expensive side, i like the quality and the freshness of the dishes. In particular, the Hay Bee Hyam (Shrimp Chilli Mix) 蝦米辣, the deep fried small ikan bills (anchovies) 小銀魚， the white steamed fish cake with little bits of chilli 魚餅. If you are an ikan bills lover, you will LOVE this stall !!!! You can eat them with rice or porridge !!!
The Hay Bee Hyam (Shrimp Chilli Mix) 蝦米辣 is located at the corner with the metal scoop. It is very POWERFUL !!! it can stun your taste buds in an instance!!!
