Btw, for Prawn Noodle lover, STOP searching for Penang Kia Prawn Noodle at Blk 205D Compassvale Lane Singapore 544205.  Penang Kia, previously run by ex-Air Steward and Stewardess, served Penang-style Prawn Noodle back in 2014/2015.  The stall was being replaced by Balestier Fishball/Minced pork Noodle.

The Nasi is light on lemak (Coconut). Comes with Well fried luncheon meat, fried kuning fish, fried eggs etc.  Their ikan bills is slightly different from traditional one as they use the small anchovies and it is fried till brownish in colour.   This Nasi Lemak is Best eaten with their very nice sambal chilli sauce !!!

This stall serves one of the BEST Chwee Kueh in Sengkang !!!   A Good Chwee Kueh come with very nice Cai-Por toppings.  Its Cai Por is well fried to the dark brownish colour.  Very Fragrant!!!  Plus the White rice Kueh is very firm, but not to the extent that it is hard.  You can try the below combination of 4 Chwee Kuehs plus Chee Cheong Fun for $2.00 for your morning Breakfast !  Their Rice Dumping is also one of Must Try. [Recently visited this shop, quality standard seemed to have dropped]

Founded in 1971 by the late Mr Leong, Sin Kee Chicken Rice is fondly remembered by regulars as the Chicken Rice stall at the second floor of the now-defunct Margaret Drive Hawker Centre and then Mei Ling Food Centre.  Long lines used to form at the hawker stall, with many raving about the lightly fragrant rice, unique ginger dip and the addictive chilli sauce.. His eldest son, Mr Niven Leong, who is known by many as Uncle Chicken, is keeping his father heritage by selling the same authentic flavour of Cantonese-style Chicken with the same recipe, passed down from one generation to another.. Beside Compass One outlet, Sin Kee has two other outlets in Millenia Walk & Bukit Batok West Mall.

The stall owner is a Master of Pulled Noodles 拉麵.  He was “pulling” Noodles since 1977 !  And He fries them when you place your order.  And your order will be served piping hot !    There are many varieties of La Mian 拉麵 listed on his menu.

The stall is famous for its noodle QQ texture.  Even if you packed the noodle home, its elasticity will still be QQ.
Cost $4.00.   Before Mian Zhong Mian underwent refurbishment in July 2018, its old store wall had this Quote :  A Noodle Dish is not worth Serving if the noodles lose its flavour and freshness.  Our propriety noodles are fully made from quality eggs so it preserves its elasticity, freshness and taste even if it is not eaten immediately.
