Their signature is Dry Ban Mian, instead of the regular Ban Mian Soup. The Dry Version Comes with very nice Chilli. They have multiple outlets in Ang Mo Kio, Clementi and Jurong. In the Northeast region, this Sengkang stall is their only outlet at this moment.

The Signboard 我的麻! is really catchy! and it really sticks into your brain !!! What a creative name! I tried the Spiciness Level 1 小辣 , it is good enough for me! For those brave ones, you can try higher levels of spicy-ness! Fresh ingredients and nice mala base to go with the Maggi noodle ($1). All in all , i paid $5.80. Nice! i will go back again!

Small bowl at $3. Nice gravy, chilli and good-sized “hum” cockles, smooth and very soft thick bee hoon. Her Mama had a lot of Indonesian friends and travelled to Jakarta to learn from bakery Shifus the unique skills of baking Super Nice Pineapple Tarts. Previously from Balestier Road, this popular stall shifted to Sengkang months ago. It opens only at 4.30pm, off on Sundays. If it is crowded, there are two queues. Join the queue on the left to place your order, then move to the queue on the right to collect your order. All three Bak Chor Mee (Signature), Fishball noodle and their Laksa are very nice. A lot went there to order take-aways.
( It is currently occupying the exact location of the once popular “Penang Kia Prawn Noodle” in Sengkang which faded away after some publicity. )
This is Balestier Noodle – Fishball Mee Kia Dry. Its samba Chilli is very nice. With the Kyaw… the white fish meat dumpling. Do try its Signature Bak Chor Mee and its Laksa. All very nice !!!

阿南甘榜鹽焗雞 Salted Baked Kampung Chicken is one of the specialty of Lam’s Signature. Its other signature dish is its Abalone Noodle. I personally find the Salted Baked Kampung Chicken a better dish, baked with salt (Not the usual fried or steam hainanese style). Just order the Salted Baked Kampung Chicken THIGH if it is for one person.

There are many Mixed Vege Rice and Porridge in Sengkang. This is the one that attracted me. Though it is on the slightly more expensive side, i like the quality and the freshness of the dishes. In particular, the Hay Bee Hyam (Shrimp Chilli Mix) 蝦米辣, the deep fried small ikan bills (anchovies) 小銀魚， the white steamed fish cake with little bits of chilli 魚餅. If you are an ikan bills lover, you will LOVE this stall !!!! You can eat them with rice or porridge !!!
The Hay Bee Hyam (Shrimp Chilli Mix) 蝦米辣 is located at the corner with the metal scoop. It is very POWERFUL !!! it can stun your taste buds in an instance!!!

This stall also serves 881(XO) Fish head Steamboat, Crab Bee Hoon and many Cze Cha dishes. It is very much different from Sembawang White Bee Hoon. This is dry version White Bee Hoon, very fragrant Wok Hei and super nice with salted fish ! MUST TRY if you are in Seng Kang !!! This is a hidden food Gem in Sengkang!

Kuala Lumpur Style Hokkien Noodle – $5. The Hokkien Noodles are specially imported from KL, much thicker than our Singapore Hokkien Noodle. Thick black Gravy that has a sweet taste, which differs from the saltier Singapore version.
Crystal Hor Fun – $8. The Hor Fun used is not the usual Hor Fun that you normally get to see. It is really translucent (not transparent!), you can see from the above picture. It is a 3-step process that involves more work than usual Hor Fun. The Chef will first “stir fry” the Crystal Hor Fun. Then the rest of the ingredients. And finally put everything together with bean sprouts and brownish Hay-Bee-Hyam sides.
