If you bring your pinic basket along, you can enjoy an interesting day on Sentosa absolutely FREE !  if you want to travel light, there are foodcourts in Sentosa that offers budget-friendly food and beverages.

Free Sentosa Admission

From now till 31 December 2015, you can stroll into Sentosa for FREE via the Sentosa Boardwalk near Vivo City (Usual admission fee $1). Sentosa Boardwalk is the only garden-themed boardwalk in South-East Asia. Thus, not only you can save a dollar, you can also enjoy 5 featured tropical landscapes that are indigenous to Singapore in your short walk to Sentosa.

As for those who drive or take a taxi, you will enjoy FREE entry only after 5pm on weekdays excluding Public Holidays (Usual admission fees from $2 – $7).

Free Transportation Islandwide

Once in Sentosa, you can travel for FREE. So, don’t drive and you do not have to worry about car park charges ! (Usual public carpark charges at Beach Station from $3 – $5 for first 4 hours and $1-$2 per hour thereafter, $1- $2 per entry after 5pm and Resort World Sentosa Carpark charges at $7-$8 for first hour, $2-$4 per hour thereafter, $6-$8 per entry after 7pm, Max $28 per 24hours)

Southernmost Tip of Asia @ Palawan Beach 

The small islet, described as the Southernmost Point of Continental Asia, is connected to Asia via one-lane suspension bridge to Sentosa which is linked to mainland Singapore, and further linked to Peninsular Malaysia and Asia.

Meet the Biggest Merlion in the World @ Merlion Plaza

There are seven Official Merlion statues in Singapore. The Biggest of all and possibly the Biggest Merlion in the whole world is at the heart centre of Sentosa, standing at a towering 37 metres. You can pose with it and snap a postcard picture for FREE.

Other than McDonalds, there are two food courts in Sentosa that offers budget-friendly foodfare. Although the prices in these foodcourts are higher than those in foodcourts on mainland Singapore, they are relatively cheaper compared to other food places in Sentosa.   At these two foodcourts, you can still find food within the range of $5+ to $6+ whereas most other food places will set you back by a double digit figure per order.
